Singapore Writers Festival.

As a marketing intern for Arts House Group (AHG) for the Singapore Writers Festival (SWF) 2025, I created early digital assets for Instagram and TikTok, supported content planning, and assisted with shaping the festival’s initial promotional messaging. My work helped build early audience anticipation and strengthened SWF’s digital presence through consistent visual storytelling and clear, theme-aligned communication.

Marketing Internship

For the Singapore Writers Festival 2025, I supported the pre-marketing phase by helping shape early audience engagement, content planning, and digital communication strategies ahead of the festival’s theme The Shape of Things to Come reveal. My work focused on building momentum through Instagram and TikTok content, amplifying festival themes, spotlighting past editions, and preparing visual assets that introduced writers, genres, and literary highlights to attract early interest.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Created pre-festival social media content including teasers, countdown graphics, literary quotes, and short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok.

  • Developed audience-facing assets that introduced festival themes, returning programmes, and genre spotlights.

  • Assisted in crafting messaging, captions, and visual tone for SWF’s digital platforms.

  • Conducted research on past SWF editions, audience demographics, and engagement patterns to inform content strategy.

  • Supported the marketing team with scheduling, archiving assets, and coordinating early promotional materials.

Impact:

  • Helped increase pre-festival visibility and engagement across SWF’s social platforms.

  • Strengthened early audience anticipation by producing consistent, story-driven digital content.

  • Enhanced SWF 2025’s online presence ahead of the official programme launch, laying the groundwork for wider reach during the festival cycle.
